Job Title: Physician Assistant - Part Time
Job Description:
Part Time Physician Assistant needed for evening shift at Healing Hands UC. As an urgent care PA, you will be required to treat a range of patients including pediatric, adult, geriatric, as well as patients with non-emergent conditions.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Treat patients with colds, flu, & cough
- Perform procedures such as suturing and wound care
- Administer immunizations & injections
- Order rapid lab tests, blood work, and urine analysis
- Order & interpret EKG's
- Order & interpret X-rays for injured patients
- Perform casting & splinting
- Perform wart, cyst, and foreign object removal
- Order & perform ear washes
- Advise patients on adherence to prescription & health regimens
- Coordinate patient care amongst office staff & mid-level providers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Must be certified & licensed in State of Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years experience
